Fall Short

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by His grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by His blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance He had passed over former sins.” (Romans 3:23-25)

We all fall short for we are not perfect! We sin every single day, but with sin comes great wisdom. We must learn from our sins and mistakes so eventually we can be made new in the likeness of our Lord and Savior. We will never be perfect because no one is, but we can be great! 

I've battled with this inner demon in me for years and I still am until this day. In order for the shackles to be broken I must surrender myself to Christ. I must confess out my mouth all the sins and wrongdoings I have committed. He is a healer and He  has the power to break the yoke of bondage. But He will only do so if you seek Him and be willing to follow His path.

 The one thing about falling short---God wakes you up everyday to get up and move! If you are reading this you are highly blessed because He wants to see you do and be better. He is waiting for you to come to Him so He can save you from the pits of Hell. "If you fall on your back and can look up, you can get up!" -Les Brown

I once heard that "if you shoot for the moon and miss, you will land among the stars" - Les Brown. It does not matter where you have been in life. It does not matter where you are right now. What matter is where you are going and how will you get there!

Focus on what you want in life. Stop being the victim and focus on what you can do right now! Know that you can do anything you put your mind too! You are what you say you are! The thoughts and words you place into your subconscious will manifest in the real world. That is why it is important to place positive thoughts into your head so that the positive energy will follow. 

Read your Bible daily! Be hungry and seek the word for it has ALL the answer we could ever possibly think of! Read books that inspire and uplift you! Listen to a podcast, psalms or melodies that move your soul! Listen to words that will put you in a mood to be fearless and courageous.

"It's not what others say or do that makes us feel the way we do. It's our thoughts about what people are saying and doing that are affecting us." Stop blaming others for the things that happen in your life. Take accountability for the things that is happening around you and CHANGE IT right now! You are in control of your destiny! Time after time I have let others deter me away from my dreams and I allowed myself to let doubt me, and do the same. After realization kicked in I recognized I am the only person holding ME back.

Through all the failure I have endured and all the trials and tribulations, I remained OPTIMISTIC! Hopeful that one day I will NO LONGER stand in my way, or let others determine my future! Dave Ramsey once said, "don't let other people set the tone for your life"! No one is in control but God Almighty and YOU! 

Take ownership of your boat and sail to new heights! Discover new land by stepping out of your COMFORT ZONE! Be willing to experiment and experience! - (Victoria Monique)

Realize that you have been hurt, people are going to hurt you, and life comes with many disappointments! But through it all, you have to seek salvation, have faith and never give up! Push yourself everyday to be great because perfect is impossible! No one is perfect but Jesus Christ, but through Him, ALL things are possible! Say I'M POSSIBLE instead of thinking of the impossible.
