You know...we think that we can predict our future when in actuality we can only prepare for it. We can’t change the past and we are all bound to make mistakes. But that’s what makes us human. Not only are we human beings, we’re spiritual beings on a journey to reach our higher self. We often stress ourselves out because we focus on things that are out of our control. When we should be trusting in God and the process. Planning doesn’t never go the way you intended it to, so instead of getting frustrated when things don’t go your way, just know that it wasn’t meant to go that way in the first place. See, we think we know everything and we don’t. When you have a test coming up at school, what do you do? You prepare for it. When you know you have to cook dinner for your family for the entire week, what do you do? You prep it before hand. Life is the same exact way. We can’t change the past and we can’t predict the future but we can prepare for it. Why cry over something that has already happened or something that hasn’t happened? I was guilty of this until I shifted my mind state. I know what I desire out of life and so does my God. He knows what I deserve and what I don’t deserve. I trust that He will lead me in the direction HE wants me to go, not me. Because when I make plans to go in my direction I always end up off course. And like a good father, He’s always there to put me back on the right course. So I’m here to tell you, perpetration is key. Prep for your future and your success by doing something different today. Reading a new book or listening to an audio/podcast, organize that closet you’ve been procrastinating about for almost a year now, listen to some new music that will uplift you, talk to a friend and seek advice. Remember, not all advice is good advice. That’s where you will have to discern what’s important and take heed to what you can apply to your current situation. God bless and I hope this post blesses you in some shape or form.
